Tournament Entry:
Schools shall send the “School
Information Form” along with the “Eligibility
Certificate” to the Sectional Managers no later than Monday, January 7, 2008.
To obtain the School Information Form for Swimming & Diving go to www.ohsaa.org/sports/sd/default.asp. THERE IS
A $150 FINE IF THIS INFORMATION IS NOT IN THE HANDS OF YOUR SECTIONAL MEET MANAGER BY
JANUARY 7, 2008.
All Sectional
Tournament swimming and diving forms must be submitted electronically to the Sectional Tournament
Managers (Columbus Academy - John Wourinen – wuorinen@columbusacademy.org; Upper
Arlington - Todd Grant – lewisp@columbus.rr.com;
Thomas Worthington – Frank Croft – croft.3@osu.edu)
not later than Noon on Monday, February 4, 2008. Entries and diving forms received after 12 Noon
on Monday, February 4, 2008 shall not be accepted. Coaches
have received an information sheet with instructions about the electronic entry system at
the mandatory rules interpretation meetings. This
information is also posted on the OHSAA web site at www.ohsaa.org. Tournament event files for the Sectional
Tournaments are located on the OHSAA web site.
Diving: There will be NO diving competition at the
Sectional Tournament. All diving competition
will be held at the Central District Tournament at Dublin Community Recreation Center, 5600
Post Road, Dublin, 43017. Boys Diving –
February 12, 2008; Girls Division I – February 13, 2008; Girls Division II –
February 14, 2008. The Diving Event counts as
an individual event and the diver(s) must be entered on the Sectional Entry Form. Also, the diver’s diving form must be

District Swimming
Qualifiers:
Boys Qualifiers: One automatic qualifier in each event, from each Central
District Sectional Site, to the District Tournament. In addition, 27 at-large qualifiers
based on time from the Central, East and Southeast District's Sectional Tournaments to the
District Tournament at Ohio University Aquatic Center.
Girls Division I
Qualifiers: One automatic qualifier in each event, from each Central District
Sectional Site, to the District Tournament. In addition, 29 at-large qualifiers based on
time from the Central, East and Southeast District's Sectional Tournaments to the District
Tournament at Ohio University Aquatic Center. East and Southeast Sectional
participants can only qualify as at-large district tournament qualifiers based on time.
Girls Division II
Qualifiers: One automatic qualifier in each event, from each Central District
Sectional Site, to the District Tournament. In addition, 27 at-large qualifiers based on
time from the Central, East and Southeast District's Sectional Tournaments to the District
Tournament at Ohio University Aquatic Center.
